Intercultural Coaching

violin-tuning-280x280I coach global executives, faculty, scholars, expatriates — and their spouses — who want to more effectively transition to a new culture and country. My focus is to support these individuals to create a happier, more fulfilling life in their new land. Specifically, I help them to create positive, lasting change in areas that deeply matter to them and have been impacted by their relocation: career, family, and relationships.

I know how difficult it can be to come to a new country, to speak a foreign language, and to have to recreate your career and life all over again. Yet I also know how powerful a coaching relationship can be to smooth that transition, to help individuals create the life they want, and ultimately to thrive.

Living abroad is a powerful opportunity for significant personal and professional growth. Despite the confusion and frustration common to global transitions, these times can also trigger increased self-understanding and even transformation. My work empowers people to use their internal and external challenges as fuel for their own development.

This typically results in greater peace, clarity, and self-confidence, as well as feeling more alive, present, and engaged with the world. As my clients change, their positive shifts tend to ripple through their families and work, and this can lead to more satisfying relationships with all those they care about.

Although there are several other coaching approaches that call themselves “Integral”, ICC’s Coaching method is the very first coaching methodology we’ve ever seen that explicitly honors and includes the full spectrum of human development — which is to say that it is the very first coaching program that fully honors and includes all of you: all of your strengths, all of your weaknesses, all of your shadows, all of your experiences, and all of your untapped potentials …
